Rose: You Are What You Eat - Floor Treatment

Final Product

The inspiration for the floor texture was from the gillies costumes for the band. The goal of the texture was to make the band look like they were organically growing from the ground. Rose was being performed in rep with Wig-Wag and was going on tour after its Fringe run - which meant that the treatment had to be easy to install and could be packed up to be taken on the road. The base of the floor was muslin with a three-step spray treatment, camo netting, and various fake flowers weaved throughout. Pre-existing dirt mounds were also added to the final product, they were originally created by Scott McMaster in the previous production, I ended up modifying them to look more like the new floor treatment.
