A New Brain follows an aspiring songwriter who wants more from his life and ends up needing brain surgery to correct an abnormality in his brain. The director wanted every prop used in the show to be colored coded to reflect the inner feelings of the main character in relation to the actions each character did. Most pieces were sourced from storage except for the hospital gurney which had to be bought.
